  I have passed almost the entire day in a land east of a range of Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River. My experience has been blissful, and education and inspirational. It has almost been so good, I've wanted to find a ruin porn street running through a ghetto palm forest growing up around the brick ruins of abandoned houses in Detroit. Case in point, the Grazin' Diner on the park way uphill from the Hudson River, just one more fabulous location on Warren Boulevard. The beef made into hamburgers arrives fresh from the farm in Ghent New York. Ghent awaits visitors south of Hudson. The cattle munch on grass, treated as kindly as pets and even are slaughtered by the farmers. The ethical puzzle of that humane attempt to take the murder out of meat eating didn't stop me from enjoying my burger, cooked rare by chef's choice. The burger had little relation to what I might pick up by the sack from White Castle. The tender juicy patty called for me to slow down my chew. Topped with a dollop of locally made goat cheese, I had really no logical, verbal response to what my taste buds were telling me. So I just accepted the experience and regreted all the meals eaten before that moment.
  
  How can everything be so perfect? Why do I have to travel home to a food ghetto. Should I sleep behind the dumpster until I find a job a pad in Hudson? Why would quality and community force me into confusion?
  
  In other observations, I wish the Grazin' Diner served all day breakfasts featuring eggs from free range chickens and cruelty free bacon. But until that day, have a milkshake to break your fast, blended with non-GMO, hormone free milk from cows that never moo an unhappy tune.
